Proposed RULES for the 10 meter NRAU Activity Contest (NAC)

 

PURPOSE:

The 10-meter NAC is a relaxed and straightforward contest aimed to please the participants and create more activity in the entire 28-29 MHz band.

 

CONTEST PERIODS:

            Every month,- on the first Thursday.

            CW      :           19.00 – 20.00 (In OH: 20 – 21)

            SSB     :           20.00 - 21.00   (In OH: 21 - 22)

            FM      :           21.00 – 22.00  (In OH: 22 – 23)

            MGM/Digital:   22.00 – 23.00  (In OH: 23 – 24)

            The time is LOCAL time! Summer and winter – the same time!

            NB: The times are NOT following UTC!

 

CLASSES and proposed frequencies:

            A = CW/Telegraphy.    28,040 +/-30 kHz

            B = SSB/Telephony      28,500 +/-50 kHz

            C = FM/Telephony       29,600 +/-80 kHz

D = MGM/Digital         According to the bandplan       

(MGM = All Machin Generated Modes like: RTTY, Amtor, Pactor, PSK 31, JT65, FSK441)

E = The sum of 1,  2, 3 or all 4 classes: B, A+B, A+B+C, A+B+C+D, etc…..

Each class is regarded as a separate contest. (Same station can be worked once every hour.)

            A participating station must operate from the same location throughout the event.

            The band is used in accordance with the IARU, Region 1 bandplans.

 

CONTEST EXCHANGE:

            RS/T and complete Locator. (539-JO65mj or 57-JO89hi)

 

POINTS:

            1 point per commenced kilometre, plus

            500 Bonus points for each new Locator Square worked. (JO44, JO59, KP00 etc.)

 

LOGS:

            The log must contain clearly marked results for the different classes

            The log must contain:

            Time – Call – Sent – and – Received RST and Locator.

            The result is published in ########.

 

DIPLOMAS:

            Diplomas are issued to the best 3 yearly results of each class.

            Only the best 9 monthly results will be counted for the yearly result.
